Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityWe are looking for a full-time Marketing Director to dynamically lead our marketing efforts and team, based in our Los Angeles office. The Marketing Director will be a key role in managing and promoting our studio. This position will be responsible for the oversight, production, development and quality of marketing collateral, including portfolios, project photography, websites, social media direction, RFP/Qs, conferences and public events. Having a keen eye for design and the creative arts, collaborating with both administrative and project teams, and being knowledgeable of current discourse and historical trends is key. The Marketing Director will be expected to think strategically in creating marketing assets and working hand-in-hand with the Principals and Directors as part of the leadership team, positively shaping marketing and media strategies. Included in this is leading the coordination between Marketing, PR, Branding and those involved in Business Development. Additionally, the Marketing Director will be expected to engage in architectural and design discourse via writing copy/narratives about projects and the studio, curation and selection of outstanding imagery both in portfolios or on site with photographers, and appropriately identify the best projects and stories for the right target audiences.
Typical Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day marketing activities, including file management, communications, project data organization, etc.
Consistently update and maintain all marketing collateral
Actively track and manage contacts and leads using the CRM (Deltek Vantagepoint)
In conjunction with other firm leaders, design and implement branding, public relations, firm activities, marketing and business development strategies
Research and identify new opportunities, such as RFP bids, new marketing trends or brand/company awareness
Coordinate with our project teams to identify and implement marketing opportunities based on our work – from concept sketches to finished projects
Manage proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs
Identify opportunities for awards, conferences, etc.
Oversee maintenance and updating of websites, digital portfolios and various online platforms
Oversee direction and quality of social media, including Instagram and LinkedIn, as managed by other team members
Coordinate photography shoots, helping to curate the best imagery
Craft well-written narratives to describe projects, people and the studio
Manage the financial budgets for the marketing department in conjunction with the Principals
Required Qualifications
6 -12+ years of experience in marketing and/or architecture/related fields
A passion for the built environment, storytelling and the creative arts
Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office software proficiency; Bluebeam, Deltek Vantagepoint and Ajera preferred
Ability to converse fluently in architectural/creative and professional languages
Exceptional communication skills – verbal, visual and written
Flexible, creative and exploratory approach, rooted in current industry knowledge
Independently organized and efficient

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
