Role Summary We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager to work with high-profile technology brands and startups. You will lead corporate reputation efforts, brand campaigns, executive thought leadership programs, and more. We seek a curious, skilled writer who can learn quickly and manage diverse clients, including startups, established brands, VC firms, think tanks, and policymakers across AI, fintech, climate tech, healthtech, media, and beyond. Your role involves counseling clients, generating ideas, motivating teams, and delivering results through regular pitching. An entrepreneurial spirit eager to grow our DC office and tech practice is essential. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies. Create persuasive content: messaging, media pitches, event submissions, awards, etc. Partner with senior managers to provide client counsel. Contribute to business development and growth with existing clients. Coordinate with discipline experts (social media, paid media, design, crisis, talent, etc.). Mentor junior staff and manage up to senior staff. Respond promptly to client requests. Support account administration: results reporting, agendas, recaps, budget tracking, etc. Ideal Candidate At least 5 years of PR experience. Interest and knowledge in tech, venture capital, and policy landscapes. Understanding of AI, emerging tech, cryptocurrency, regulation, and cybersecurity. Proven success in securing impactful top-tier press placements. Ability to think creatively and strategically with stakeholders. Strong, persuasive, concise writing skills. Ability to simplify complex issues into compelling communication. Innovative thinker, enthusiastic about brainstorming. Decisive, accountable, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Driven by over-delivering and pride in meaningful work.
