About the Product Development Team
The Product Development team consists of a group of dynamic Designers who work collaboratively to make beautiful product for the home.
Overview of the Assistant Designer role
The Assistant Designer role supports the team with sample management, organizing textile library, vendor communication, general organization, and task management.
This is a hybrid role - 4 days onsite
Responsibilities
Scan, print and paint textile designs
Assist team with spec out process, pitching color positions, folding, printing, and shipping specs
Organize detailed information in a faced paced environment.
Help with presentation boards and presentation mockups as needed
Be involved in concept set up. Sewing, painting, and folding mock-ups
Update and maintain seasonal product information
Be proactive; can see what needs to be done and pitch in to help
Keep sample room, textile library, color library, and studio organized
Operate a computer and communicate via telephone
Proficient in Microsoft Office & good communication skills. Basic Photoshop & PLM knowledge helpful but not required
Criteria
Bachelors or Design degree (or experience in related field)
Basic understanding of design/art concepts, lexicon and skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills

The expected starting pay range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
