Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Our client, a well-known celebrity, is looking for a Junior Producer to join their Miami team for a 6 month project. This person would need to work on-site Monday - Friday at their Brickell studio for 5-6 hours a day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for live production and a strong ability to coordinate multiple moving parts to ensure a smooth and professional broadcast.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure performers arrive on time and are prepared for their scheduled appearances.
- Communicate with talent/talent rep regarding any updates or changes to the schedule.
- Coordinate with hair and makeup artists to ensure performers are show-ready according to the production schedule.
- Verify with the team that performers’ costumes align with the creative vision and are camera-ready. (Some costuming is in-house; some specialty costuming talent will provide.)
- Confirm that the engineer has conducted a thorough sound/camera check prior to going live.
- Assist in troubleshooting any last-minute technical issues to avoid delays.
- Monitor the production timeline and ensure all elements are progressing as planned.
- Identify and address potential issues during production to maintain a seamless broadcast.
- Take detailed notes during each production, documenting any challenges, delays, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement fixes and streamline future broadcasts.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Basic understanding of live production workflows, including sound checks and green screen setups.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly during live broadcasts.
- Experience in production coordination or a related field.
