We are seeking a highly skilled UI React Architect with over 13 years of experience in software development, specializing in front-end technologies and architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React and experience in Java, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance web applications. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis, MN is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and design of front-end applications using React, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers, to define and implement innovative solutions. Evaluate and select appropriate front-end technologies and libraries to optimize application performance. Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, ensuring maintainability and scalability of applications. Mentor and guide junior developers in React development and software engineering principles. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to standards. Stay updated with emerging trends in front-end development and advocate for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Java developers to integrate front-end applications with back-end services. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 13+ years of overall software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end technologies. 5+ years of experience in building applications using React.js. Proficiency in Java, with experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and routing libraries (e.g., React Router). Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and tools for performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team. Preferred, but not required : Experience with TypeScript. Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
