Job Overview Are you interested in managing facility drawings and revising drawings for innovative biotech projects? We are seeking a CAD Design Manager to streamline drawing controls, redline existing drawings, and interface with key project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop an SOP for drawing management.
Create a SharePoint site for managing drawings and documentation (ETOPs, etc.).
Establish a file naming structure in SharePoint and Mercury.
Convert received drawings into company CAD standards and file accordingly.
Partner with IT to implement Mercury at the site.
Support the development and execution of Mercury implementation plans.
Transfer drawings into Mercury, ensure SOP adherence, and update CAD drawings as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of experience creating construction documents.
Proficiency in preparing 2D drawings and 3D models of facilities and systems.
Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to produce high-quality results on time and within budget.
Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2013+, and at least 1 year in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
Strong collaboration skills in a GMP environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75k - $125k/year (based on experience).
