Live Broadcast Mobile Studio Operator
MUST LIVE WITHIN 45 MIN OF THE SF AREA - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB
We are looking to add a -Mobile Studio Operator- to our team in the Northern California area
You will be responsible for facilitating live television transmissions between network TV shows and their remote guests inside of our mobile studio. You have probably seen our live shots on networks like CNBC, FOX NEWS, CBS, CNN, NewsNation, NewsMax, SkyNewsUK, ABC, TBN, and many more
Job Details
You will periodically throughout the week get booking requests from major broadcast networks that want to include guests in the region through on their TV shows.
Your job is to:
- Accept the booking
- Organize the information in our calendar
- Reach out to the point of contact and work out location details
- Show up for the broadcast window
- Turn all the studio lights and broadcast equipment on
- Make the shot look good
- Help the guest into the studio van
- Handle the communication between the studio in NY and your guest in the van
- Sit at the camera and wait for your hit time on air.
A basic understanding of cable signal flow and camera operation experience is preferred, but no experience is required/necessary - we will train you for the position.
At the moment this is a contractual work position.
Not a generic 9-5, you only work when there is a booking.
Perfect for someone that works a remote job such as freelance graphic design, video editing, writing, Makeup Artist etc.
**Expert level communication/organization skills is a requirement**
Ideally we would love if candidates have experience with:
cameras, a fundamental knowledge of signal flow, computer skills, live streaming experience, video production and/or broadcast production experience, Makeup for TV, DropBox, editing experience is also a plus - bonus points if you are proficient with the adobe creative suite, specifically premiere pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and media encoder.
