About The Role The Digital Marketing Director, Paid Media, will lead the strategy, management, and implementation of client paid media plans and activations. This role requires collaboration with other TEAM LEWIS teams (Creative, Content, PR, Research, Performance + Analytics, SEO, and Integrated Strategy) and will involve working with teams and clients across the US, with some travel possible.
This position is suited for an ambitious professional eager to grow, thrive in a fast-paced, international environment, and contribute to building out the agency’s paid media practice, including hiring, team leadership, and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, providing insights and partnership in paid media and digital marketing.
Ensure excellent client communication, define KPIs, deadlines, and service agreements.
Deliver value-added consultancy, proactively recommending industry best practices and benchmarks.
Manage account profitability and optimize revenues.
Oversee paid media campaign budgets and performance, collaborating with teams to optimize campaigns and meet KPIs.
Participate in new business pitches and develop innovative strategies and tactics for clients.
Build and manage paid media plans, relationships with vendors, and cross-team integration.
Lead and mentor team members, supporting their professional development.
Conduct training sessions to expand team skills and grow the client portfolio.
Promote the TEAM LEWIS brand and support internal and external opportunities.
About You You are an experienced Paid Media professional with a proven track record in agency or in-house roles, skilled in executing digital media campaigns and leading strategy. You are passionate, collaborative, detail-oriented, and thrive under tight deadlines. Experience in a fast-paced environment and familiarity with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) are essential.
Additional Requirements
Extensive experience with advertising platforms and paid media partners.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in web analytics tools.
Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff.
Excellent project management, communication, and research skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
