To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.In collaboration with CEO and peers, develop and implement the strategic vision to identify areas of growth and development for the function and operating companies by:
Focusing on achieving revenue goals and growthDeploying digitally enhanced capabilities, creating a personalized customer experience and a more enabled sales forceHiring, developing, and retaining highly engaged, flexible and skilled marketing professionals.
Maximize brand awareness and drive consistency of brand image and messaging through leadership of corporate marketing team and collaboration with operating company marketing resources, focused on enterprise-level marketing, communications & digital efforts including:
Brand identity development and guidelines including visual, practical/experiential, personality/tone, messagingBrand architecture and naming standards, guidelines, protections, and processesInbound marketing including social, blogs, multimedia, and SEOOutbound marketing including advertising, remarketing, and email campaignsStrategic creative & production agency relationship management
Lead the focus on commercializing our offerings and growth initiatives across products and target segments through:
Strategic, customer-centric messaging focused on relevant differentiation and value propositionsProduct, Service and Solution launch development in collaboration with Operating CompaniesMonitoring and analyzing operating results against established targetsMeasuring the performance of all activities and campaigns, assessing them against goals and adjusting strategy and activities accordingly.
Plan, organize and execute various marketing events such as prospect and customer events, conferences, exhibitions.Design and implement corporate communications strategy including leadership and cultural communications, employee facing communications, employer branding and community communications.Provide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, test, and learn approach to new initiatives.Foster an inclusive and diverse working environment.Complete ad hoc projects as directed.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:The ideal candidate will demonstrate:Strong values and high standards of ethics, integrity, and trust.Strong action orientation and drive for results.Strong leadership and collaboration skills.Deep knowledge of marketing and branding, preferably with B2B companies.Skills and experience in strategic message development.Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and listening skills.The ability to deal with ambiguity and drive change within and around the organization.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong negotiation and project management skills.Business acumen in manufacturing and distribution operations.The ability to lead effective teams and develop direct reports.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business or a technical discipline is required.Graduate degree in business is a plus.At least ten (10) years of experience in Marketing, including at least eight (8) years in a senior level marketing/communications position.Proven track record of strategy, marketing and leadership.The ideal candidate will have experience as a marketing leader in a business with $500M+ in annual revenue, operating in both domestic and international locations. P&L leadership experience is a plus.Ability to confidently and effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.Knowledge of all areas of marketing, including internal/external communications, brand management, digital marketing and operations, product development, market development, and business development.Knowledge of marketing analytics and measuring ROI on key initiatives.Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.Manufacturing and/or distribution background along with multi-unit operations highly desired.Company Description:Rite-Hite
