Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Technical Order Support/ Systems Engineer to join our team and support the groundbreaking mission of the Space Force. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of illustrations to support SSC/ SNP. This employee will use a variety of tools provided to enhance documentation of Technical Orders. Additionally, this employee will provide quality assurance through reviews and inspections. This role is located at Peterson SFB, Co.
In this position you will:
Illustrations:
- Use CorelDraw, AutoCAD or other vector drawing software to draft illustrations for TOs.
- Update drawings using redline drawings from engineering teams.
- Update TO illustrations following redesign activities.
Technical Order Management Support:
- Work with government lead to inspect documentation, drawings and equipment; document observations, findings, non-conformances and non-compliances.
- Plan for and resolve document discrepancies upon discovery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on inclusion of new program TO libraries into TOMA configuration.
- Ensure written files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with appropriate consideration for OPSEC and policy requirements.
Technical Order Reviews:
- Coordinate with engineering SMEs to translate Engineering Redlines to technical order illustrations and diagrams for clear O&M actions.
- Review all Technical Orders under management for consistency, accuracy, and clarity on an annual basis.
Technical Writing:
- Develop new TOs for assigned systems in accordance with current military standards and TO 00-5-3.
- Convert legacy materials to deliver comprehensive and updated TO content.
Support and Compliance:
- Support legacy documentation and maintain compliance with style and format as directed by the TOMA.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, graphic design, English or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; a highly motivated self-starter.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, CorelDraw, or other vector drawing software.
- Proficient in the use of SGML.
- Clearance: TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience reading engineering redline drawings.
- Knowledge of SBIRS infrastructure.
