Overview
The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research and the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research are seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to support all online services. This includes the website, mass emails, and social media. Must be customer service oriented and comfortable managing a diverse and complex workload.
As a Digital Content Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping a brand’s online presence. Your ability to create compelling content and adapt to digital trends will be key to your success!
This position is hybrid and requires at minimum 50% of time spent in-person in Alexandria, VA.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Curation:
- Develop and curate content for websites, social media platforms, blogs, and other digital spaces.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across different channels following brand guidelines.
- Campaign Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create well-rounded campaigns.
- Liaise with the CMS provider and website design company.
- Website Management and Optimization:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding website updates and improvements.
- Innovate website and online tools to keep up with best practices.
- Create and maintain content schedules.
- Upload content to the website and other digital platforms such as YouTube.
- Generate reports on key metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Email Marketing and Automation:
- Schedule, layout, and provide reporting metrics for association emails (preferred experience with an email marketing tool).
- Plan automation campaigns and propose new strategies to utilize tool capabilities.
- Social Media and Graphic Design:
- Form and schedule social media posts with the assistance of the Marketing Manager.
- Provide graphic design assistance for web elements.
- User Interaction and Research:
- Create online surveys with the assistance of the Marketing Manager.
- Routinely respond to and provide assistance to online inquiries in support of all online products.
- Propose topic ideas for blogs, social media posts, and marketing campaigns.
- Research industry trends and new digital platforms and audit current systems alongside the Assistant Director, Digital Strategy and Operations.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Attend Domestic and International Conferences to provide support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including vendors, partners, and staff.
- Education : A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Skills : Strong communication, creativity, and project management skills.
- Experience : Prior experience in website management, HTML, content creation, and digital marketing, or related roles is necessary.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with Drupal, email marketing, online survey experience, graphic editing skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Video editing skills are advantageous.
