Role Overview
We seek a full-time, entry-level engineering graphics technician with knowledge of creating, drafting, and modifying technical drawings using 3D modeling tools. The role involves supporting the engineering team in designing large-scale assemblies and components for our Operational Simulators and Maintenance Training Devices. Candidates should have an associate’s degree in engineering graphics, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating 3D wireframe, surfaced, and solid models using tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
- Ability to think in 3D and create complex 3D assemblies and components.
- Experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings and translating them into 3D models.
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
Education & Experience
AS or AAS in Engineering Graphics; Entry-level experience preferred.
