The Goddard School of Bethesda is looking for an energetic, warm, and engaging music class teacher.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for children.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and staff.
- Developing weekly lesson plans and implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting children's play, exploration, and musical development.
- Communicating professionally with parents and staff.
- Ensuring compliance with GSI QA Standards.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Music-related field or Early Childhood Education.
- Relevant experience working with children aged 0-5.
- Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to hear and see adequately to perform teaching duties.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to evacuate during emergencies.
