Overview
Pleasant Grove UMC, in west Jefferson County, seeks a part-time Director of Music Ministry. This position has two main responsibilities:
- Choosing music and directing the choir.
- Playing either the organ or piano for worship services and accompanying the choir.
The choir practices on Sundays after the worship service, so this position requires the Director to be on-site only for Sundays. The ideal candidate would have experience working with a choir and accompanying traditional hymns and anthems. The pastor and congregation are easy to work with and are committed to creating a healthy environment for staff.
