JOB PURPOSE:
Work with Internal Customers, the Studio Production Team and the Digital HUB to support all build, prop, set requirements for video, photography, trade marketing, sales and social media projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support all Digital HUB and Studio teams in Set Building, Set Painting, Prop Painting, Set Demolition, and Material Acquisition for builds and demos. Responsibilities include both on-site and off-site productions.Organize, box and wrap salvage pallets for pick up.Accept/Load In shipments/receivables when available.Organize all hand tools, power tools, wood and all miscellaneous build materials in the shop area.Responsible for general shop cleanliness.Change Booth Filters and clean booth as necessary.Become familiar with all products and application techniques and be able to recommend best practices to Studio and HUB Teams.Responsible for occasional on-camera build and product application.Assist with concept and design suggestions for projects.QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education required:3-5 years' experience as a Studio Set Builder or General Carpentry experienceVideo/Photography studio experience preferredBackground in woodworking - sourcing wood, building, prepping (for shoots), staining etc.Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Teamwork etc.Education or training in creating advertising sets or theatre set design.Required Skills:Experience using a PC to source materials, research projects, and submit training and expenses.Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional wayOutstanding communication skillsExcellent people and time management skillsCapability to safely use hand tools and power toolsGeneral knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting and all aspects of construction.Furniture assemblyFlooring installationTravel & Physical Requirements:
