The Director, Media for Americas is a key role within the Marketing & Communications team. This individual leads the paid media investments, managing brand visibility, crafting sophisticated media strategies, and ensuring flawless execution. The role involves leading a team of media specialists, mentoring their development, and collaborating with the Global Marketing team to execute regional strategies. Key Accountabilities: Oversee all phases of media planning, including strategy development, briefing, activation, optimization, and reporting. Maintain a strong understanding of traditional and digital media landscapes to recommend strategic, insight-driven media plans. Guide performance media models, including social, programmatic, and digital partnerships, balancing brand image with performance goals. Stay current with industry news, trends, and platforms to inform planning and foster innovation. Develop and manage annual Media Guidelines reflecting the evolving media landscape in the Americas. Build strong relationships with media vendors, emphasizing trust and accountability. Manage agency relationships, including scope negotiations and ensuring high-quality outputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Tiffany & Co. and LVMH. Nurture a high-performing team of media experts. Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and strong communication skills, including interaction with senior leaders. Manage large budgets with financial discipline and attention to detail. Qualifications: 10-12 years of media experience, preferably with agency and in-house roles; a 4-year degree in marketing, media, communications, or related fields is required. Deep knowledge of digital, social, and emerging media technologies. Experience managing media budgets and agency relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to independently set and prioritize tasks. High attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working with luxury brands is a plus. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience. Management may be eligible for bonuses.
