The Technical Services Supervisor oversees daily radio wireless communications operations, including installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs of two-way radio equipment and related electronic communications, monitoring, and accessories.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage support for radio communication site systems, collaborating with sales and operations teams.
- Install, maintain, and support radio systems such as UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz, including software and firmware updates.
- Make minor modifications to electronic circuitry and operate various radio equipment and software systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair communication equipment issues.
- Utilize network capabilities with SCADA systems.
- Lead infrastructure projects for new or upgraded radio systems, ensuring interoperability and shared wireless networks.
- Manage assets related to communication equipment, including tracking FCC licenses and equipment status.
- Train and mentor communication technicians to improve skills and ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, compliance, and safety regulations.
- Optimize resource utilization and support strategic planning.
- Perform other assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Engineering or technical college degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in wireless technology operations, with management or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record.
- Willingness to travel for customer sites and projects.
- Preferred: wireless manufacturer licenses and certifications, forklift certification, respiratory protection training.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift up to 50 pounds; and perform tasks requiring good vision and hearing. Work environment includes shop, yard, outdoor weather, and noise exposure.
