Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Full-time Occupational Health Center Manager
to oversee our occupational health services based out of our
Anchorage OH Clinic . The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with strong managerial skills and experience. This role involves coordinating clinical and administrative operations, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
This role will also involve quarterly visits to our sites located in Kenai, Wasilla and Fairbanks. This role will oversee the daily operationss of 5 OH clinics and provides support to 6 direct reports.
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.BS degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration or relevant field preferrable in qualifications.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Willingness to travel quarterly.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
Preferred Skills:Experience in occupational health services.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
Management and Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the occupational health team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Clinical Oversight: Oversee clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality occupational health services. Collaborate with healthcare providers to maintain best practices and standards.Administrative Duties: Manage the day-to-day operations of the center, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures.Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Address client needs and concerns promptly and effectively.Travel: Travel quarterly to different locations as required to oversee operations and ensure consistent quality of services.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Quarterly travel required to additional sites in Kenai, Wasilla and Fairbanks.
Contingencies
Offer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, background check and motor vehicle report.
