Trazi is a web management company that owns and manages several online e-commerce businesses. As our Senior UX Designer, you will drive the overall look and feel of our websites to create superior customer experience, increase conversions, and enhance customer retention. This role is a blend of user experience design and product management, ensuring that our websites are both visually compelling and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Senior UX/UI design, an understanding of user behavior, and the ability to drive product improvements that align with business goals. This will be the first designated design position on our team.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
This is a hybrid position, where you are able to work semi-remote (3 days) and on-site (2 days).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design vision and strategy for web experiences and features, aligning closely with product goals and business objectives.
- Drive product discovery by identifying user problems, validating ideas, and turning insights into impactful solutions.
- Create intuitive, user-centered designs for websites and new features.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas effectively.
- Mentor others, offering guidance, feedback, and support to ensure quality and consistency across work.
- Own the product design cycle from UX research to developer hand-off.
- Conduct user research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Guide website enhancements to improve user experience, boost conversion rates, and increase customer retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of website updates.
- Influence product roadmaps and strategy, using research and design thinking to shape direction.
- Act as an advocate for the end user’s experience.
- Monitor website performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations.
- Help maintain visual consistency and to expand and elevate design guidelines, patterns, and libraries.
- Iterate designs efficiently and effectively based on research and user feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with UX best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience of work as a UX/UI design, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or strategic product design role.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and analytics tools.
- Ability to translate business goals into user-friendly design solutions.
- Experience working closely with product managers and developers to shape product vision and roadmap.
- Strong organizational skills, especially the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of presenting and defending design decisions at a leadership level.
