Summary of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing & Communications Director to lead our marketing team. This senior role requires a visionary leader who can develop and execute cohesive marketing strategies across our portfolio of brands, set key KPIs, and establish senior-level relationships with industry publications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive results at a high level.
This role reports into the Chief Business Officer.
Key Responsibilities
:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for the GXG portfolio with a focus on NVE Experience Agency, Treehouse Fabrication and CognitionTeam Oversight: Oversee a team of Marketing Managers and their activities, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of marketing initiativesKPI Development: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and strategies across the portfolio of brandsPR: Establish and maintain relationships with industry publications, thought leaders and media contacts to identify and secure speaking engagements and generate press leads and corporate coverageMarketing Campaign Development: Strategize and oversee development of all marketing campaigns and corporate product/services launchesSocial Media Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy for all brands, ensuring consistent and engaging content across platforms like Instagram and LinkedInThought Leadership & PR: Establish and maintain relationships with industry publications, thought leaders and media contacts to identify and secure speaking engagements and generate press leads and corporate coverages; Develop editorial and thought leadership content strategy to elevate profiles of C-Suite, ELT and key leaders through the agency portfolioContent Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, whitepapers, video content, and case studiesIndustry Recognition: Strategize and oversee awards strategy, working cross-functionally to develop applications for industry awards and key lists as Clios and CannesEmail Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with existing clientsPerformance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategiesContent Capture: Oversee process and strategy for capturing and leverage on-site event content for use in marketing material development, awards strategies and social media contentSEO & Inbound Marketing: Implement SEO and inbound marketing strategies, working with third-party experts as necessaryBrand Messaging: Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all marketing channels and materialsMarketing Budget: Oversee and optimize Marketing’s annual budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldMinimum 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within an agency settingProven experience in B2B marketing and a deep understanding of the experiential marketing industryStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a marketing teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing contentProficiency in marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics toolsCreative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of SEO and experience working with third-party expertsWillingness to work extended hours and on weekends when necessaryCan empathize with different consumer types, see the world through their eyes and connect those dots to the brandUnderstand and is fascinated by culture, sub-cultures, and the forces that move them

Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time
Location:
We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. However, we are considering remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation

This is an exempt role. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities.
