is seeking a
UI/UX Developer
to support the United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software for Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch. The role involves rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to cyber threats in ground and space environments. The position requires onsite support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Responsibilities
Providing professional UI/UX design work, including hands-on coding and troubleshooting with HTML, CSS, and similar languages. Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigation, and informational components. Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, and attractive user interfaces. Developing user-centered designs based on business requirements and user feedback. Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience in government, research, or contractor environments. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or related STEM field, plus 3 years of UI/UX development experience. Certifications such as SAFe for Teams, Google UX Design, or General Assembly UX Design Immersive. Experience with Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, RHEL, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL. U.S. Citizen with Top Secret security clearance. Desired Qualifications
Relevant DoD or Industry experience in Space Systems Command. The salary range is $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and skills.
