What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and adapt automated analytical tools for data processing and visualization of child protection and development topics - Conduct on-demand inferential and descriptive analyses, including generating customized indicators - Ensure data quality through rigorous assessment and fact-checking of statistical outputs - Prepare draft analysis plans, suggesting relevant indicators and statistical methods - Deliver high-quality analysis packages within tight timelines, responding to project needs as they arise
What is Required (Qualifications): - Master’s level degree in demography, statistics, mathematics, economics, sociology, or related fields with statistics and programming (for Category 1) - Minimum of five years of professional experience in data processing, analysis, and management (for Category 1) - Bachelor’s level degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience (for Category 2) - Minimum of three years of professional experience in data processing, analysis, and management (for Category 2) - Proficiency in statistical software packages (STATA, SPSS, R) and advanced skills in R and MS Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience analyzing data from MICS, DHS, and national surveys or censuses - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in meeting deadlines
