Overview
Join our state-of-the-art fabrication department to design and program fabricated sheet metal components used in the building of our high-value, automated machines. Our fab shop is a showcase of technology, smart processing, and precision workmanship. We have invested in the best tools, and we want to hire the best people to use them. This position plans around high-end Amada equipment including a laser and press brake.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Utilize Amada software in combination with CAD or Solidworks to plan and program the laser and press brake.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, working with engineering to continuously improve work product and manufacturability of current designs.
- Alter existing CAD files to better fit manufacturing capabilities while following CAD and revision standards set by the engineering department.
- Assist with process planning.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in fabrication, programming, or similar structured training program required.
- Experience with CAD or Solidworks preferred.
- Self-directed, organized, productive, strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and strong written and verbal communication skills crucial for success.
- Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes as well as material gauge and bend radius.

PHYSICAL REEQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Regularly sits throughout the day and works at a computer in a shop environment.
- Constantly required to correctly follow written and verbal instructions/prints requiring concentration and mental capability.
- The work environment is bright and temperature controlled.
