Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.– Identify, create, and optimize design foundations, reusable components, and high-level patterns for the Kuiper Design System– Deliver artifacts that raise the bar for visual and user experience design, whether you’re working on wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, or prototypes.– Partner with a multi-disciplinary product and engineering team to own the implementation of your work.– Collaborate with designers, engineers and other stakeholders across teams and organizations to increase adoption and shape the future of our design system.– Create and optimize the processes and tools available to our designer, developers, and other consumers to collaborate.– Partner with our product and engineering teams to create a consistent cross device customer and user experience.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Redmond, WA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field; or commensurate experience.– 6+ years of UX design or interaction design experience– 6+ years of design experience creating mockups, wireframes and prototypes for web and mobile applications and/or workflows.– Experience using tools such as Figma for prototyping design concepts and for defining and documenting the user interface architecture (UI patterns, components and guidelines).– Proficient establishing, designing and using design systems and design frameworks– Have an available online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (design systems, personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
