- Develop visual designs and user interfaces for native mobile experiences based on user research and business requirements
- Incorporate our company's branding and platform standards into UX design
- Extend visual design systems and patterns into native mobile, including layouts, grids, photography, iconography, UI elements, and others
- Articulate UX concepts clearly, communicating effectively with internal leaders and partners
- Connect UX recommendations to larger global strategy, leveraging design thinking towards business outcomes
- Collaborate with design research in uncovering and incorporating user needs into design requirements
- Work with project managers and business analysts to follow project timelines and provide design deliverables
- Support developer hand-offs, including performing design QA
Skills:
- Strong Figma understanding including components, shared libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping (experience with variables is a plus)
- Native mobile design requirements (both iOS and Android, but also non-OS-specific)
- Healthcare design, for both patients and for clinicians
- HIPAA and patient data privacy
- Design systems and branding
- Displaying and managing data (tables and grids, graphs and charts)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG and ADA, for mobile devices
- Designing for behavior change is a plus
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in design, graphic design, visual communications, industrial design or design strategy. Potentially open to candidates with other degrees.
- Minimum 2 years of design work experience in visual design for mobile products within brand guidelines.
