Senior Associate Athletics Director for Athletic Communication
Position OverviewThe University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for a Senior Associate AD for Athletic Communication. This position will serve as the primary sports information departmental contact for multiple sports. This position will be directly responsible for coordinating the publicity and promotion effects of the University of Evansville Athletics. Nights and weekend work required as necessary with some travel expected.Responsibilities IncludeOversee the Athletic Communications departmentDesign and edit publications and assist with other graphic design projects within the athletics department using InDesign and PhotoshopAssist in promoting UE Athletics and programs through social media platformsCoordinate press releases, publications, statistical information, community interest storiesUpdate content on GoPurpleAces.comServe a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our athletic programs both locally and nationallyDevelop strong rapport with local media, direct press box operationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree required; 5+ years of experience in Athletic Communications.
