The Armacost Library at the University of Redlands seeks a collaborative team member to lead the university libraries' Archives & Special Collections. This librarian will oversee rare and historical collections across the Redlands, LA/Burbank, and Bay Area campuses, collaborating with faculty and students to incorporate primary source materials into teaching and research. This position may involve occasional travel among University of Redlands campuses.

Interest and experience in developing dynamic outreach programming both within library spaces and other venues would be welcome qualities in a successful candidate.
The Armacost Library seeks candidates who share our commitment to welcome, teach, and support students in their learning and growth. Additionally, the ideal candidate would be committed to advancing the Mission, Vision, and Values of the University of Redlands. The Archives & Special Collections Librarian will report to the Library Director, support all campus libraries and collections, collaborate with partners across the University, and engage with library consortia partners.
This is a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Librarian. All faculty undergo University-wide, periodic reviews which carry expectations of research and service to the discipline and University.
