Job DescriptionThe University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Content Specialists for a newly formed, cutting-edge multimedia content team dedicated to enhancing Mizzou Athletics' digital presence. This team will serve three primary purposes:
- Developing high-impact digital content to promote Mizzou Athletics through storytelling, marketing, fundraising, and major department initiatives.
- Assisting with production of digital advertising content in partnership with Mizzou Sports Properties to support corporate sponsors and elevate their association with Mizzou Athletics.
- Ensuring Mizzou Athletics remains on the forefront of the changing landscape of college athletics and is able to be nimble and flexible as content needs evolve.
These specialists will report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to elevate Mizzou Athletics' digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing compelling visual content (video, graphics and/or motion graphics, depending on skillset and specialty) tailored for marketing, sponsorship, and additional campaigns in alignment with Mizzou's brand identity.
Capturing, creating and editing high-quality dynamic content for digital and social media platforms.
Producing engaging digital content that highlights the impact of Mizzou Athletics, its partners, and its student-athletes.
Working closely with the Creative Director, marketing team, corporate sponsorship unit, and student-athletes to execute content strategies.
Staying up to date with emerging digital media trends and industry best practices to ensure Mizzou remains at the forefront of digital storytelling.
Optimizing content for social media, digital advertising, and Mizzou Athletics platforms to maximize audience engagement.
ShiftMonday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred QualificationsExperience working directly with a college or professional sports creative department is preferred.
Salary Range: $53,000 - $60,000
Grade: GGS 9e
