Job Summary
MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing user-centered design in MathWorks software products for small, self-contained projects.
- Designing user experiences based on detailed requirements that meet user needs and product vision.
- Understanding MathWorks’ product directions and developing design solutions.
- Proposing design ideas based on usability testing, standard UX methodologies, and technical input from research on Simulink workflows and user preferences and behavior.
- Assisting in design processes, from early ideas and sketches, to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development and go-live.
- Contributing to requirements and design documents.
- Collaborating on low, medium, and high-fidelity prototypes.
