User Experience and Human Factors Specialist

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and creative UX & Human Factors Specialist to design and optimize the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of our innovative "Nuclear OS" platform. This role will ensure the platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively supports diverse user groups within the nuclear energy industry, including nuclear engineers, project managers, supply chain teams, and field workers. The position reports to the Product Manager for the "Nuclear OS" platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing an intuitive UI/UX framework for rapid adoption of Nuclear OS
- Optimizing human-AI interaction
- Collaborating with the Digital Twin & IoT Engineer to create immersive 3D visualization dashboards
- Designing workflow automation tools
- Leading usability testing to ensure user-friendliness and functionality in high-stakes environments
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven track record
- Experience in user research and usability testing
- Experience working in an Agile development environment

- Proficiency in design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
