$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr Date Posted: 07/09/2025 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 485260 Job Title: Senior User Interface (UI)-User Experience (UX) Designer Job Location: Trenton, NJ, USA, 08650 Work Model: Hybrid Work Model Details: 2 days onsite per week Shift: Monday through Friday 8 to 5 EST Employment Type: Temporary FT/PT: Part-Time Min Hourly Rate($): 65.00 Max Hourly Rate($): 70.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Adobe XD, CSS, Dreamweaver, HTML5, Illustrator, Photoshop, UI/UX Design Nice To Have Skills/Attributes: Pega Experience Desired: Experience with the Pega suite of applications (1 yrs); Experience with agile methodology (2 yrs) Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree Job Description *** Only qualified UI/UX Designer candidates currently located in the Trenton, NJ area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite Presence*** Required Education: • Bachelor's degree or certification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field Required Skills: • Experience in Website application UI/UX graphic design (4 Years) • User Research Experience (4 Years) • Overall technical and IT experience (5 Years) • Experience designing and documenting User Interface and User Experience (4 Years) • WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines (2 Years) Preferred Skills: • Experience with agile methodology (2 Years) Must Have Experience: • Experience conducting user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and creating user journey maps • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings or user/business needs into actionable insights • Proficiency in interaction design, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices • Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines • A minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design • A strong portfolio of enterprise applications explaining your role, methodology, problems solved, steps taken, learnings, and outcomes An experienced UX Designer is required to drive discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing activities for both internal and external applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design and user research, along with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience in building enterprise-level applications is essential. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other designers to balance user needs and business requirements, ensuring we deliver user-centered experiences • Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify complex processes, reducing cognitive load and minimizing user errors • Utilize the existing Design System and UI styles to maintain design consistency across applications • Create clickable prototypes to test design assumptions and hypotheses • Work with multiple application teams to deliver project-required deliverables on time • Ensure that designs and code are accessible to all users For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
