The role focuses on ensuring high-quality video streaming, ad insertion accuracy, and optimal operational performance. As a Video DevOps Engineer, you'll work on implementing and maintaining systems and processes to enhance video stream quality, automate workflows, and provide operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage CI/CD pipelines, maintain cloud environments (GCP, Azure), and scale Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Operational Support & Testing: Perform stream maintenance, new stream intake, and smoke test validations. Manage Jira test cases and resolve Video Ops support tickets.
• QA & Ad Quality Assurance: Validate ad insertion accuracy and perform QA testing on video platforms and content systems.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: Optimize video systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, provide on-call support, and manage critical incidents.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in cloud environments (GCP, Azure), containerized apps (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automation tools (Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with video streaming protocols and ad insertion systems (SCTE-35).
• Strong skills in monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and Jira for defect tracking.
