The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an accomplished business development executive to lead our explosive growth in the third-party collection agency space. The ideal candidate will have proven success sourcing and closing multi-million-dollar ARR deals across a variety of industry verticals such as FinTech, traditional financial services, utilities (including cable and wireless), government, and healthcare. Experience and success sourcing and closing first party collections opportunities is also a plus. This is an individual contributor role that will not initially be leading a team. Finally, this role reports directly to the ARM business unit leader.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients for third party collections outsourcing.
- Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and build strong relationships to drive sales opportunities.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking and leveraging existing contact base.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and specific challenges potential clients face.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing the benefits of our third party approach and tools.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospects to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings relevant to outsourcing / shared services, including compliance changes and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a strong preference for experience selling third party collections outsourcing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to be productive and accountable and work under tight deadlines when needed.
- Good understanding of collections-related digital technologies; Digital Transformation a plus.
- Strong negotiation and business management skills.
- Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 80%).
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or comparable professional experience.
