CLASSIFICATION:
Full time, Hourly, non-exempt
SCHEDULE:
Sunday: 7:30am - 4pm (30 minute lunch)
Monday through Thursday 9am- 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Position Overview:
Redemption Church is seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to contribute to the visual storytelling of our church's ministry. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and editing high-quality graphics and video content that will engage our congregation and online audience. The ideal candidate is a visionary with a passion for sharing the gospel through compelling visuals and dynamic storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Create original graphics, icons, and pictures for the use of social media and other mediums (website, advertisements, signage, products/merchandise, conference displays, etc.)
Develop, shoot, and edit engaging video content for various platforms (social media, website, live events, etc.).
Collaborate with the Creative Department and other church staff to produce content for promotional materials, worship services, and special events.
Implement feedback from creative leadership to refine and enhance final designs and videos.
Creative Direction:
Align yourself with the creative vision for all content, alongside the Creative Team, ensuring alignment with Redemption Church's mission and values.
Brainstorm and present new ideas for content that enhances our online and in-person presence.
Stay updated on graphic design and videography trends and technologies to implement innovative production techniques.
Ensure all content meets the technical and creative standards of Redemption Church.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream weaver, Flash) to produce professional, high-quality graphics.
Utilize editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar) to produce polished, professional-quality videos.
Be willing to learn and operate video, lighting, and audio equipment, if needed, ensuring technical quality in all productions.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a graphic designer/videographer, with a portfolio of high-quality work.
Proficient in graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash).
Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Knowledge of photography/videography equipment, lighting, and audio.
Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
Excellent project management and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
A heart for ministry and a passion for storytelling in a church setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a church or ministry environment.
Knowledge of social media and church service content formats and trends.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, based in-person at Redemption Church.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for services and events.
