Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Videographer/Video Studio Operator located in Glen Burnie, MD. The role involves tasks such as video production, camera operation, lighting setup, shooting video footage, and managing camera equipment for various projects, including podcasts, interviews, social media content, weddings, and events.
What We are Looking for:
- Strong experience in videography and editing
- Must provide a portfolio of corporate videos and wedding films you’ve personally filmed and edited
- Must provide professional references
- Familiarity with the following equipment and tools:
- Canon and Blackmagic cameras
- ATEM switchers
- vMix live production software
- Adobe Premiere Pro (strong editing skills required)
- Experience with live-streaming and event productions
- Reliable and professional—someone we can trust to show up and get the job done without being micromanaged
- Comfortable working solo on shoots or as part of a small team
- Takes initiative and finds creative solutions
- Must be available to work weekends for weddings
- Travel may be required
- Must be able to work in person at our Glen Burnie studio
Qualifications
- 4-10 years of Video Production and Shooting Video skills
- Camera Operation and Lighting Skills
- Knowledge of camera equipment and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with post-production editing software is a plus
- A degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is advantageous
Other Duties may include:
- Working with new clients to create a podcast and studio look
- Communicating with clients as needed
- Keeping the Studio cleaned and Equipment organized
- Willing to learn new skills
