Overview
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer for a 6–12-month contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience designing digital products, a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
1. UI/UX Design & Prototyping
- Design user interfaces, interaction flows, and information architecture for digital products.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Ensure a consistent, intuitive, and accessible user experience across platforms.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Utilize research tools like UXTweak, UserZoom, or UserTesting to gather insights.
- Apply user-centered design principles to optimize product usability.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives.
- Present and articulate design concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Balance high-quality design work with project timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of design assets while maintaining design excellence.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a focus on digital product solutions (not just branding or marketing websites).
- Strong portfolio showcasing strategic and conceptual thinking in UI/UX design.
- Expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and research methodologies.
- Experience conducting and applying user research insights to inform design.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in Wealth Management or the Financial Industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, iterating based on user and stakeholder feedback.
- Knowledge of Storybook, Chromatic, NPM, and front-end development principles.
- Basic understanding of CSS/HTML.
- Degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or a related field.
