Overview
Manage the church’s voice and presence across email and print marketing, church promotion and announcements and all social media platforms.Create and implement marketing plans for large events and message series.Manage the relationship and contract with Church Media Squad for all graphic design needs.Maintain The Pointe Church’s photo library and oversee the photography team.Update The Pointe Church’s website, monthly newsletter, and other regular communication platforms.Generate and prepare all Sunday assets (slides, graphics, announcements, etc.)ROLES OF THE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

The life change and miracles of the Bible are not confined to ancient times; they continue to unfold in the people’s lives every day. Sharing the story of what God is doing through social media, emails, marketing and more invites the community outside of The Pointe Church to experience this life change for themselves.RECRUIT LEADERS
– Recruiting photographers, leaders, and content creators is the lifeblood of The Pointe Church’s ministry. All ministry depends on volunteer servant leaders, who must be discovered, trained, and appreciated.COLLABORATE WITH THE TEAM

A commitment to Jesus Christ and a maturing personal spiritual growth with a family and a social life that honestly reflects your spiritual life.Articulate a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing relationship with Him.Indicate commitment to the mission and vision of The Pointe Church, attend weekly worship service, and participate in the Pizza with the Pastors class.Demonstrate humility, a teachable spirit, and integrity, working effectively with ministry teams across all functions—leadership, operations, missions, and ministries.Exhibit warm, caring interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop and maintain strong relational connections within the congregation.Degree in communications, media, or related field, OR 3+ years of experience in church communication or related environment.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite use and application, including Photoshop and Illustrator.Experience with digital and print design.Working knowledge of website content management with a demonstrated ability to supervise others responsible for developing content.Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to create media and work products that influence, instruct and inspire others to action.SCHEDULE
This is a part-time position that requires flexibility in hours to capture ministry events and activities.Job Type: Part-timePay: $15,000.00 - $20,000.00 per yearExpected hours: 20 per weekExperience
