About Us: WTP Media is a fast-growing digital marketing firm based in Grand Rapids, MI. We help businesses grow through web design, video production, digital advertising, and social media. We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Associate to join our team.
About the Role: The social media associate is a full-time, in-office role. Strong graphic design skills are a must. You’ll help create social media content and use your design skills to create digital graphics and marketing materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager to develop content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
• Design compelling graphics and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Create brand guides for clients, including visual elements like logos, fonts, taglines, and graphics
• Maintain visual consistency and uphold brand standards across all client content
• Assist in the concept, layout, and production of marketing material, including ads, landing pages, websites, and social content
• Write copy like headlines or captions to assist your visuals
• Work with clients to understand branding goals and translate them into creative deliverables
• Stay up-to-date with social media specs, trends, and platform updates
• Help ensure the success of marketing campaigns by contributing fresh ideas and thoughtful design

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field
• 1+ years of relevant experience (agency experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
• Understanding of design specs for major social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital content, branding, and social media design
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Intermediate experience with Google Suite
• Bonus: Photography, video editing skills
