Coordinate planning and execution of technical projects with design, engineering, and PM teamsInspire, grow, and manage a team of UX Engineers at different levels of experience and skill setsWork cross-functionally to develop polished components and experiencesOffer alternatives when technology constraints require design compromisesEvangelize, document and teach both designers and engineers about the value and capabilities of the design system; listening to pain points and barriers and driving updates to controls and documentation to enable easier adoption and cohesionIdentify opportunities and build tools or workflows to reduce friction and increase efficiency and qualityCommunicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders about status and opportunitiesEmbody our culture and valuesQualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications8+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production codeOR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production codeOR equivalent experience.
2+ years people management experience.Preferred Qualifications7+ years experience shipping production code as a result of a collaborative processDemonstrated experience with design systemsExperience being responsible for large contributions to new and existing codebasesExperience with Figma and Figma component libraries and/or pluginsExperience with front-end build systems and toolingExperience with mobile technologies (iOS and Android)Experience with front-end technologies, like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React and the ability to prototype web designsExperience with animation and/or motion librariesExperience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing clarity in ambiguityExperience working across the full life cycle of a product – ideation, design, develop, implementation, validation, and integrationAbility to work cross functionally with other teams (Design, Research, Engineering, PM)Demonstrated understanding of User Research and research methodologiesOnline portfolio that showcases your work (eg Github, Codepen, Codesandbox)
