Library Assistants PT - Adult Services and Youth Services
We are currently hiring for two position; one in the Adult Services Department and one in the Youth Services Department of the Main Library in Wilson. Assigned locations are subject to change based on the needs of the library.
Description of Work
Part-Time Library Assistants for the Wilson County Public Library are responsible forassisting patrons with Internet searches, accessing materials using the online catalog, providing information regarding library programs and services, arranging and maintaining book displays, planning and presenting educational programs, and performing other related work as needed. These jobs will include regular evenings and weekend work.?
Minimum Education and Experience
The minimum qualifications for this position are an Associates or Technical degree, experience providing service to the public, and a valid N.C. driver's license. ?Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
