with expertise in
employment law
to join our legal team. This fully remote position is ideal for a licensed attorney or legal professional who excels in legal research and persuasive writing and is passionate about advocating for workers’ rights. Key Responsibilities: Draft high-quality legal briefs, including motions for summary judgment, oppositions, appellate briefs, and other substantive filings in employment litigation. Conduct complex legal research and apply findings to support class and individual employment claims under federal and California labor laws. Collaborate with attorneys and litigation teams to develop legal strategies and arguments. Edit, revise, and refine briefs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and legal precision. Monitor legal developments in employment law and incorporate them into litigation strategy. Prepare written work product under tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality. Required Qualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. 3+ years of experience practicing employment law, ideally with a focus on wage and hour class actions, discrimination, retaliation, or wrongful termination. Exceptional legal writing and research skills, demonstrated through prior litigation experience or a strong writing portfolio. Seniority level
