Reporting to the Director of IT, the Zoho Developer / Administrator is responsible for serving as a bridge between business users and technology, ensuring the organization's Zoho ecosystem aligns with business objectives. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and enhance system functionality.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, automations, blueprints, and scripts using applications within Zoho Creator, using Deluge, HTML and CSS.
- Administer, configure, and manage Zoho applications, including CRM, Creator, Books, Desk, Campaigns, and other Zoho One tools.
- Manage API integrations between Zoho and external business systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Oversee and participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of Zoho solutions.
- Provide training, documentation, and user support to ensure business users effectively utilize Zoho applications.
- Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions for teams to improve Zoho adoption.
- Build dashboards and reports in Zoho Analytics.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to develop customized Zoho solutions.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize business processes by leveraging Zoho’s automation tools, reducing manual tasks, and improving efficiency.
- Implement security policies, access controls, and user role management within Zoho applications.
- Serve as liaison between business teams and the IT department to understand operational challenges and translate them into Zoho solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, perform regular system audits, and maintain system performance.
- Conduct data migration, cleanup, and deduplication efforts to maintain accurate business data.
- Stay up to date with Zoho product updates and proactively recommend enhancements.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of experience as a Zoho Developer, Business Analyst, or Zoho Administrator.
- Zoho Certifications (Zoho CRM Administrator, Zoho Creator Developer, Zoho One Consultant) are a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and API integrations.
- Possess a strong technical background in Zoho applications while also demonstrating excellent communication and analytical skills to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Ability to engage with business users, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable system configurations.
- Experience with Zoho One administration and multi-application configuration.
- Proficiency in workflow automation, blueprints, and business rule creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to align Zoho capabilities with business needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., Make, Zapier, or direct API connections).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based on management’s approval. This role requires an in-office presence up to 5 days a week with some remote flexibility based on management’s approval.
