Executive Producer
to oversee news content for fairness, balance, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will produce daily newscasts and oversee the production of newscasts and special programming. WLOS/MY40TV seeks an Executive Producer to oversee news content ensuring fairness, balance, and accuracy. Responsibilities include producing daily newscasts, overseeing special programming, and collaborating with news staff. The candidate should exemplify leadership in the newsroom. Additional Responsibilities:
Oversee Investigative team in collaboration with News Director Supervise news specials, town halls, and cross-department initiatives Ensure newscasts serve local communities with relevant information Review scripts and provide feedback to enhance storytelling Manage newsroom and handle breaking news situations Collaborate on creating special segments Plan and oversee continuity for upcoming newscasts Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and planning skills Proven ability to create compelling stories across platforms Experience managing breaking news and meeting deadlines Problem-solving skills Commitment to journalistic standards and ethics Excellent people skills with coaching and motivating abilities Understanding of digital traffic strategies Minimum 5 years of experience in television news production or equivalent College degree in Journalism or related field preferred Strong writing skills and results-driven approach EEO and Inclusivity:
