Title: Associate UX Designer (Junior Level)
Type: Full Time Position
Base: DOE
Hours: 8am to 5pm
UX Designer Core Responsibilities include:
Ensures the work produced is intuitive, functional, intelligent and visually appealing
Have a creative approach to problem solving
Develops simple and elegant design approaches to complex stories, user interfaces and problems
Can interpret complex concepts into simple and sophisticated user experiences
Creates conceptual look and feel options and documents interactions into clear requirements for development
Works closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly

Core Responsibilities:
Assist Lead UX Designers in executing user-centered design solutions
Support the development of intuitive, functional, and visually appealing digital experiences
Translate wireframes and user flows into production-ready assets
Ensure consistency in design systems and UI components
Create and refine user interface elements, layouts, and interactions based on provided guidelines
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation
Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design
Job Brief:
We are looking for a Junior UX Designer / Associate UX Designer to assist in creating exceptional user experiences for our eCommerce clients. In this role, you will support Lead UX Designers and play a crucial role in production work, including wireframing, prototyping, and UI asset creation. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing user experiences and improving conversion rates across various digital platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of UX principles. If you have a passion for design, thrive in a collaborative environment, and enjoy problem-solving through thoughtful user interactions, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Assist in the production of wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
Support UX research efforts
Collaborate with Lead UX Designers, Developers, and Project Managers to bring ideas to life
Create and maintain UI component libraries and style guides
Document user interactions and design decisions for development handoff
Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are followed in designs
Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to contribute design concepts
Adapt and iterate designs based on stakeholder and user feedback
Requirements:
0-2 years experience or training in UX/UI design, interaction design, or related field
Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced agency environment
Familiarity with Figma
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (knowledge of JavaScript is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Passion for eCommerce and optimizing user experiences for online shoppers
Exposure to eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
