KBest Media is an independent, locally owned radio and media group looking for a leader to continue growing its star within the community. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with radio experience to take this ball and run with it! There is no corporate ownership or rigid rules to follow. We have been locally owned for 11+ years, and we love it! We’re looking for someone to steer the ship, guide the team, propel the force….you get the idea! KBest Media is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations for our cluster of three local radio stations. You’ll have the freedom to make an impact and lead with your own style.
Position Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Running the day-to-day operations of the 3 stations—everything from programming and sales to promotions and administration.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to grow audience, revenue, and market presence both terrestrially and digitally.
- Ensuring FCC compliance and maintaining broadcast standards.
- Leading a talented team and keeping everyone moving in the same direction.
- Being the face of the station in the community—shaking hands, making connections, and building relationships.
Qualifications:
- Solid radio experience or media management.
- Creative problem solving with no fear of rolling up your sleeves.
- Passion for radio and community connection.
