Working at Real Chemistry and in the healthcare industry isn’t just a job for us. We got into this field for different reasons, but we all stay for the same reason – to uncover insights, make meaningful connections, infuse creativity, and improve the patient experience by transforming healthcare through AI and ideas.
Real Chemistry creates the world around modern therapies with over 2,000 talented professionals, and for the last 20+ years has carved out its space at the intersection between healthcare, marketing and communications, data & AI, and the people at the heart of it all. We work with the top 30 pharma and biotech companies and are built for uncommon collaboration—we believe we are best together, bringing together experts from a wide range of disciplines to collaborate without barriers under a single, unified mission: to transform what healthcare is to what it should be. This one-of-a-kind model allows us to work in a way that better reflects how people experience healthcare—all with the intent to transform healthcare from what it is to what it should be. But we can’t do it alone – you in?
Job Description
You’ll be the day-to-day partner to planning and account teams for your media discipline(s) and will leverage your knowledge of paid media to support strategy development and delivery. You will contribute to activating omni-channel, digital-first marketing and advertising campaigns for our clients.
This is a hybrid role, based in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Leverage your knowledge of the healthcare media landscape to manage the RFP/RFI process with vendors.
- Build close partnerships with media partners and have experience with direct buying processes (IOs, tags, custom contracts etc.).
- Create tactical media recommendation slides for client presentations that demonstrate a clear understanding of proposal materials.
- Be the main point of contact and maintain email communications with multiple partners across various accounts.
- Act as day-to-day social media support across several healthcare accounts, but part of an integrated team; responsible for the execution of paid media campaign planning, setup, creation, optimization, and management.
- Provide proactive recommendations on campaign results, industry trends and innovation, and competitive pressures to keep clients informed and manage programs upon best practices of programmatic media.
- Support tactical planning and in-platform execution in a timely fashion. Handle requests promptly to keep campaign activation and execution agile, nimble, and fast.
- Manage multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment, within the health/wellness/pharma industry and be part of an internal ecosystem that provides clients with digital expertise and innovation.
- Demonstrate a passion for healthcare, digital, and communications to help spot opportunities for the client to achieve greater success for their business and brand, reach a broader audience and use all the tools at their disposal.
Who You Are:
- A builder – who can see where the puck needs to go, and lay the framework for implementation, guiding delivery and client expectations too - looks beyond the foundation to connect dots for program optimization.
- A rising omnichannel guru – who has formed a good understanding of performance marketing, and wants to continue to delve deeper into managing all media practices (paid search, OLV/CTV, display, social, audio) and who understands personalization and stays ahead of trends and tech within the digital industry.
- Someone who understands how to offset the pressure associated with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times, and remain a solutions-oriented partner.
- You don’t wait for someone else to fix things. You think strategically about problems and offer recommendations to relevant parties as to how best avoid setbacks and snags.
- Ability to execute client deliverables with a sense of urgency and client service orientation.
- An excellent communicator - both written and verbal including ability to communicate with managers and clients when deadlines will not be met, or other challenges arise.
What you should have:
- 1-3 years of experience in negotiating and managing publisher direct buys and managed service campaigns in partnership with a variety of media vendors and publishers.
- Experience managing paid social media or programmatic campaigns are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of platforms and data used to support and measure overall campaign performance (DCM, DV, etc.).
- Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, Meta Blueprint and Google Certifications are a plus.
- Exceptional project management skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage detailed budgets.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to build relationships with internal teams.
- Work related diversity, equity and inclusion involvement a plus.
- Pharma/healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
