Responsibilities
- Achieve annualized new business sales of $200k in our target market of companies with 200-2,000 employees, with at least 92% client retention year over year.
- Meet new business activity and appointment goals.
- Research prospects and develop tailored messaging.
- Explain USI’s competitive advantages to clients and prospects.
- Develop and execute sales plans and prospecting strategies.
- Innovate for clients using market knowledge and technical insurance expertise.
- Participate in meetings, training, and industry events.
- Use USI’s CRM and sales tools effectively and accurately.
- Engage in cross-selling and collaborate with account management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of competitors and represent USI professionally.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ years sales experience in insurance brokerage with proven success.
- College degree preferred.
- Life and Health insurance license required.
- Strong Employee Benefits knowledge.
- Personable, motivated, goal-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
- Organized, resourceful, with strong customer focus and ability to engage with senior management.
