Job Description:

Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced and creative Web Designer to join a fast-paced and collaborative marketing team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually engaging and user-friendly websites. You’ll be responsible for designing website layouts, landing pages, and digital assets that elevate brand presence and drive engagement.

Web Designer Tasks & Duties (What you'll do):

• Design modern, responsive websites and landing pages for desktop and mobile

• Collaborate with developers, marketers, and stakeholders to implement design strategies

• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices

• Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms

• Create and manage digital assets including graphics, banners, icons, and email templates

• Conduct regular website audits and updates to improve UI/UX

• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies

Web Designer Shift Info:

• Monday – Friday; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Web Designer Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and/or Figma

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)

• Understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and SEO

• Google Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred

Web Designer Requirements:

• GED / High School Diploma

• Able to work in the US

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
