The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and experienced storyteller with a background in corporate communications, public relations, and digital content management. In This Role, You Will: Internal Communications Intranet & Internal Channel Management:
Maintain and optimize the company intranet and internal communication channels, ensuring timely, engaging, and effective content delivery. HR & Culture Communications:
Develop and execute communication strategies that support company culture, employee engagement, and HR initiatives. Executive Leadership Communications Support:
Partner with leadership to craft internal messages, speeches, presentations, and reports. Event & Stakeholder Communications:
Plan and execute communication strategies for corporate events, town halls, and key internal meetings. Content & Deck Review:
Develop and review presentations, newsletters, and other internal materials to ensure alignment with company messaging. External Communications Award & Recognition Program Management:
Identify and manage corporate and industry award opportunities, coordinating submissions and recognition efforts. Media Relations & News Release Management:
Build and maintain relationships with media, draft and distribute press releases, and handle media inquiries. Social Media Management:
Oversee corporate social media strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with brand voice and business goals. Content & Blog Development:
Develop thought leadership content, blog posts, and articles that reinforce the company’s expertise and industry position. Special Project Communications:
Support strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate projects with clear and effective communication strategies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal/external communications, or public relations. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience crafting engaging content for diverse audiences. Experience managing internal communication platforms, social media, and media relations. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, marketing, and executive leadership. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a corporate or global organization. Familiarity with crisis communications and reputation management. Ability to work with and manage agency relationships. Required: Associates must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled.
