Job Summary
Join our team in Cincinnati! Medpace is a contract research organization (CRO) dedicated to advancing new and better medical treatments. We are expanding our creative services team and are seeking recent graduates or experienced designers skilled in layout and design for diverse projects.
As a Design Coordinator, you will be a vital part of the Information Design team, collaborating with writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative professionals committed to improving lives. We develop compelling content, branding, documents, and training materials for a broad audience.
Responsibilities
- Design and format clinical study materials (e.g., worksheets, informational cards, questionnaires) for patients, caregivers, research site staff, and physicians.
- Incorporate amendments and translations into existing documents using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Word.
- Manage translations to ensure high-quality materials are delivered globally.
- Track study materials for regulatory submission and keep study teams informed.
- Review study materials to ensure they accurately reflect source documentation.
Skills/Characteristics
- Enjoy applying skills in design, writing, editing, communication, and organization across various projects.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A desire to become an expert in how translations impact design and layout.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work fully in an office setting.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in design or related experience).
- Significant experience with file management and structure.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, including styles and templates.
